Why Convert YAML Configurations to JSON?
YAML (YAML Ain't Markup Language) is the preferred configuration syntax for DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions, Helm charts, and Ansible because of its human-readable indentation-based structure.
However, web applications, programmatic scripts, REST APIs, and JSON Schema validators require strict JSON syntax. Converting YAML to JSON enables automated validation, seamless programmatic processing in JavaScript/Python, and easy inspection of complex nested configurations.
